Congratulations on playing an antagonist faction, folks. You've certainly antagonized someone. Is this the part where I log my fabled protagonist and come save the day?

Please. Let's be real.

Any time someone sees a Nomad or a Wild player, since Wild players can't really hide in plain sight, and Nomads are red and should be dead, it's rarely about roleplay. You see a purple squid or someone with Nomad guns/a Wild ID and you got nuts, right clicking furiously. Then you die and get mad that you lost to the original antagonist of the vanilla campaign. It isn't really easy to be either of those, by the way. Interactions 99% of the time end in getting shot because 'OOO NOMAD KILL IT'.

Wild factions have a Sirius-Wide ZoI based on their ID. They aren't limited to that six year old map showing Kusari and the Taus (Drake is part of the Taus, btw). They go where the activity is. They work on the same basis of a hivemind communication, and since there's a large amount of Order and hostile ships in the area, shooting at them, more will come. Common sense, dude.
