Sometimes I do not sleep AT ALL for 2 days straight, and when I do sleep, it's usually 3 or 4 hours a night.
I had a period where I actually slept between 3 to 4 hours, then the next night not at all, then 3 to 4 hours and the night afterwards not at all-repeat.
The messed up thing about it is that during the day I am constantly tired whether I make any effort or not, whether it's work or I just sit on my butt all day staring at my screen, I am still very tired, but when I try to go to bed, I feel sudden bursts of energy which keep me from falling asleep.
This disturbed pace of sleep has let to some rather interesting effects, such as dreaming with my eyes open if I can word it like that.
Yesterday I woke up from my sleep due to what felt like a wave of cold air.
I felt like there was another presence in the room staring at me, it took some effort to open my eyes and when I did there was this green light across the room, it was dim but I could see my room in detail, and what seemed like a floating orb from where this light came on.
Once I saw that orb moving across the room I jumped out of bed and suddenly it disappeared, no orb, no light, no cool air, nothing.
This was not a break in, because everything was locked as I left it and nothing was disturbed, yes I checked.
I have more similar experiences if people are interested.
