If it helps, I proposed a small adjustment to the current event to try and make it actually happen and to involve all IDs present - not just the officials.
The choice at this point though is to either implement it to try and fix things - or ignore it and nuke the event entirely and move on to the next as it has at this point overstayed its welcome.
EDIT: It should be said at this point that it needs an admin vote.
