Events should be as inclusive as they can, they should be open to many sides and attract attention. That's what makes them successful. That's where the LSF-Harmony-5th thing fails rather badly. I could not care less about that story line. It's neither big enough, nor interesting enough - and let's not even talk about the oorp mess behind/around it.
Official, large events need to circle around cool places, need to include player hub systems and relevant factions, including indies.

There is a ton of cool story ends that were cut off and should be taken up again.
However those that were doing it on a faction leader initiative are either banned or demotivated or gone.
Rekindling this would be a good idea.
