Growing up on Denver, Andrew had quite a hard life since his mother died giving birth to him. His father was in the navy and brought home very little income, so he decided to get some kind of work for himself to make things a bit easier. He illegally piloted a freighter at the age of 14, taking pharmaceuticals and oxygen to the space stations in the system. Flying from such a young age has made him more experienced than most pilots his age, which made him much more confident when it comes to dangerous situations. For this reason, he enlisted as a battle transport pilot for the Liberty Navy, but left after 3 years due to rumored budget cuts from the Navy.

He applied for a position as a chief officer of a transport crew at USI, which he worked as for 6 years, until his captain announced he would no longer be in command of the ship due to a promotion. Andrew decided it was time he applied for a promotion to captain of the ships he was working on.

ANDREW WALTER, who was last seen in the New York system in 827AS, is alleged to have secretly joined the Xenos, of which there is little evidence. An anonymous source has reported that he was killed in a firefight with Junkers during his time with the Xeno organisation. His ship, the USI Salt Lake has also gone missing and is presumed to have fallen into the hands of the Xenos.
