If the Coalition surrendered to Bretonia, Bretonia (being a house of commerce) would naturally demand structural reforms to allow for free trade.

Said reforms, and the surrender to the ideological arch-enemy (royalists), would obviously leave the Coalition, and more importantly its military, in a state of disarray and chaos. Parts of the military would rebel to avoid this total defeat. They've been spoon-fed propaganda about the enemy for generations, afterall.

The Hessians* and Corsairs would move in on the weakened Coalition, trying to get their chunk of the collapsing Coalition's space, and the Bretonians would be well aware of this, and wait until that moment when the Coalition, on it's knees and facing complete obliteration, would beg for help, at which point they'd actively provide defense for the Coalition in return for full vassalhood. The Hessians and Corsairs would eventually back off facing a stronger fleet, and in the process the last few 'true Coalitioners' would either have perished in wars or be rotting in jails.

20 years down the line, Planet JiangXi will become a quaint tourist attraction for adventure-driven Bretonian tourists who wants to see the remnants of the curiosity which was the Coalition. The Premier will be peddling old Coalition war-time souvenirs on a rug in front of the Kremlin.

Surrender is not an option.

*Depending on their ambitions, it can be argued that the Coalition won't be an asset to the Hessians anymore, if they are subjugated to the Bretonians, at which point it might be beneficial for the Hessians to simply just take over, rather than let the Corsairs have the spoils of war.
