The ship suffered some heavy damage from weapon fire, tachyons mostly. The outer hull is dotted with breaches from combat. I guess that a year long drift through an asteroid field contributed to it too. The belly of the ship was massacred by a nuke, with the engine and left fin basically gone. The structure of the ship is shaky at best, and it's what the Cretan engineers are working on right now. The powercore is not working, the computer is barely alive as well. Surprisingly enough, Salvations mounted on the right side of the hull and most manouvering thrusters there are fine.

As for the six-pack, getting one shouldn't be too hard around here.
