As far as I know, I'm an orphan, but I heard rumors a long time ago that my mother was an inmate at the Fuchu Prison. I don't really remember the details, because I heard them a long time ago when I was really young. I was taken in by Samura, needless to say I was also too young at the time to understand that in most cases if you're being "offered" something that seems too good to be true, it's probably because whoever is making the proposal secretly expects something in return, even if it isn't stated outright. When I turned 16, Samura agents, and probably a few Hogosha agents, found me and told me that I "owed them" in the form of "labor debts". When I told them I had no idea what they were talking about, they restrained me and one of them began calling the Kusari police while another was planting cardamine on me. The message was clear, submit to their "labor debts" or be chewed up and maybe never spit out by the Kusari legal system, so I agreed to do what they said. From then on, I spent a lot of time working under Samura for just enough profit to not starve, and in that time I did a lot of trading and mining throughout Kusari space. Eventually I realized Samura had no intention of ever freeing me from their service, so one day on a routine trade stop at Deshima Station I snuck away to the bar while my 2 Samura escort pilots weren't looking. I found the nearest bounty hunter and told him my situation, I told him I would do whatever it takes for him to get me out of there and offered all of my credits at the time as a down payment. He offered me a job in the bounty hunters guild, I took it and we went to Liberty space in his ship where he generously offered to lend me a ship and let me pay him off for it using whatever bounties I collected using it. I eventually did exactly that, and at the time I thought I had found my place in Sirius, that is, until my time on Sugarland prison in Texas. I thought by capturing and turning in unlawful individuals in Liberty, that I was doing the people of Liberty a favor, but what I saw there made me realize, maybe not. Aside from the horrible treatment of inmates, they were being used as slaves, I had heard of Liberty Police Inc. profiting from forcing their prisoners to do labor without payment, but I had not seen the scale they were doing it at. It could've just been me, but I also saw people in there who really looked like they didn't belong, like they were genuinely honest people before they were arrested, and that's when it occurred to me that maybe not every individual I captured had broken any laws, and I realized, had I been born in Liberty space, I might have been any one of those prisoners. So then, just like that, I quit the bounty hunters guild, and made my way into Gallia, because I've heard of the council and your stance on most of these issues, and you seem to be some of the few, if not the only people who actually care. I've decided enough is enough, I'm sick of being pushed around and used by corrupt governments and corporations in Sirius, and I don't want to join the outlaw groups who target civilians that may or may not be in the same position I was in, in Kusari. I know I'm a foreigner and I assume based on what I've heard that you, the council, will overlook that, so now I'm asking you, let me join you, I want to fight for a cause that matters.
