Quality of Life system changes

I think I understand what he is trying to say.
Imagine a big box with some dots in them. The box is the mod and the dots the players.
Because the box is so big and only some dots are there, they have a lot of space and can be far apart from each other.
Now replace the big box with a smaller box and the dots would have to be much closer to each other, which would create a illusion of more dots even when the amount of dots didnt change. The downside of that is that the box(mod) would be smaller, which would mean less content.
