Adrenaline rushed through Annabelle's veins as she leaped out of the Sabre desperate to avoid gunfire from the command center about 20 feet above the hangar bay landing platform on Leipzig Station. As she hopped out of the ship she fell square on her back and shook her head for a second before grabbing her weapon and taking cover. Gunfire and explosions were going off near the command center. Screams of people losing arms, legs, suffering burns, or worse. Seeing people messed up in that sense made her hesitate before finally making her way to the stair way leading up to the command center. Just as they were about to open the door to the command center the airlock for hangar bay was opened. She looked back for a split second, in that instance -time froze- she saw several wounded and dead bodies fly out the airlock. She jerked her arms back at the door grabbing onto it as hard as she could, just as her legs were going numb, her head was pounding and the freezing temperatures invaded the room like a fire traveling a strip of gasoline. Just as she felt like she was going to pass out, the emergency bulkheads closed. She dropped down trying to catch her breath as the door opened in front of her. She rolled over to the side with her pistol as the men walked out. She shot each of them in the back before rolling back over and finishing off the ones in the command center.

[Several minutes later]

The western half of the station was secure, a perimeter around Leipzig was formed meaning all that remained were the defenders onboard the station that were abandoned by DHC. Several dropships landed carrying more soldiers and medical personnel for the wounded pilots that made it on to the station. Anna and a few others ventured off towards the station's Nuclear furnaces. She heard screams coming from one of the rooms nearby, unable to see anything but a small amount of light illuminating from a door on the other side of the room. She kicked down the door to find Nika Haupt waiting inside next to a dead Hessian pilot. His shoulder looked like it had been ripped up. The blood dripping from his mouth made Anna's stomach turn.

Shit you scared me. What are you doing here?
