I can't bring myself to follow what has happened politically or socially, but I do have an interest in the human mind itself. That is where it all comes from, isn't it?

I don't think we can really talk about 'what if' something had went down differently in the past. It wouldn't have, it hasn't in this world, why discuss it? I've dreamed about utopian infrastructures with disregard for any monetary systems, but that doesn't work either. Most forms of communism derive from ideas like that one, but have somehow failed to achieve what they were supposed to.

The way this could work is if the human ways of thinking change, and for that to happen we need to lose our egos or learn how to fully control them. If we somehow drop the ego this early, we will be left with others and the care for them. Practically one has to give up oneself in order to be free from the material world and its confinements.

And about the dominion of man over nature - mankind is still an outcome of nature itself, so if we are to be exact - nature is dominating over nature, isn't it? Cooperation will emerge now more than ever, I have a feeling about it. As I mentioned earlier - societies have a more pronounced voice today. Not many can just pretend they don't hear it anymore. You have seen the effect of this with cases such as ACTA. We had a similar occasion here, in Bulgaria, when the PM wanted to modify current laws for the protection of natural goods (forests, for instance) so that cutting down forests would become legal for private people. The person who owns the biggest ski resort here is his personal friend, you see. Then facebook became on fire and everyone was up about it, protesting and such. Then our president assigned a VETO on the incoming changes. It kinda works, and it works fast.

A lot of it is in our hands and we are not powerless to faceless corps.
