I want to ensure this is cleared, before someone submits a Violation report. We can settle this outside of getting Admins (overworked as they are) involved.
Just to be a bit more clear here: You're not allowed to ally with hostiles. Now that's the rules, but there are cases where the ID can override the rules, or even more rare, the RP has enough justification to override the rules. In a case of RP>Rules, it has to come from a common agreement from all sides and justifiable to the admin team if there is a report.
The rules are here to provide some common ground to everyone, but it will never be a catch-all thing. There will always be situations that simply do not fit the rules but make sense and we did see a few of them show up when I was an active admin. They usually are left alone if everything leading to it was good enough and justifiable.
