I think this design is okay for a destroyer. I'd let the heavier classs have vertical wings - just like pirahna vs hammerhead, it should be destroyer vs BC/BB.

But the problem is:

how to compensate the fact, that this dessie is as narrow as a pancake? Fewer weapon mounts?
