Rule Inconsistencies?

It would be nice if you chose your rep at the start, like some other mod allowed, especially with the sanction happy mods this server has.

You could choose your rep and it could be locked, buy your ID (although you wouldn't need an ID at that point), and the admins would have one less excuse to sanction people.

/Time for me to rant a bit.

Funny, I suggested the same thing ages ago and the reply was that it would be unfair.
Why should people be able to use a /restart to fix their rep when SOOOOOO many others have worked so hard to get to the rep they have now. Maybe to AVOID the shear magnitude of crap like this thread has revealed. Its so damn easy to get green with BH and Corsairs its fricken stupid. Same with getting green with BH and Outcast. Anyone ever consider that he was landing at Crete to take missions AGAINST BH to get his rep back to neutral. Successful missions move a rep a lot faster then going to the particular base and failing missions over and over again.

So here is a question for you all,

Are you here to play a role, or are you here to act like a mob and lynch someone?
So far I have seen the amount of complaining increase radically. People bitching about capital ships, bombers, traders, pirates and anything else that someone has that they dont.

IF you guys really want EVERYBODY to play a role as YOU define, then POST a DETAILED description of EXACTLY what is expected by EVERY faction so that everyone can read it. Otherwise, its all left up to an individual interpretation of what a role is. And guess what, one persons perspective on a role is NOT going to be the same as another persons.

Id provide a very specific example, but last time it was focused on instead of the main message.
