A handwritten note was left on the bed, inside that comfy flat owned by Ishikawa Hideaki. The letter was easy to read, its author obviously putting a lot of care into it. There was only a blotch on the last line, as if the writer hesitated before continuing.

Please accept my apologies for leaving you a letter like this. As a matter of fact, I was just passing by New Tokyo system to take some personal effects before returning to Bretonia. I wished you were at home so that we could talk, but it appears I missed you by a few minutes. I didn't want to look after you and interrupt whatever you are doing. Admirals are busy people, after all.

As you probably know, I requested a sabbatical several days ago. I will be out of Kusari for a while; something to do in Bretonia. Do not worry, nothing dangerous.
Hopefully, I won't be away for too long.

Meanwhile, I'd like you to be careful, since I won't be around to protect you. I would also like you to keep doing push-ups every morning. It's important; I will check on your progress when I will be back.
