When they had all reached the top of the vent Silver scanned the horizon, to the south Kusari troops were advanceing with light armor that was already begining to shell the vents position, Silver turned as a short distance an explosion and shockwave riped through there position, what was left there was presumably the intruders ship. Quickly Silver ordered his dragons to make a defencive line and hold back the advanceing troops and then moved over to where the intruders were.

Silver: "I presume that was your ride off this rock, unless you have another in orbit you may as well follow us, were going over there"
Silver pointed to a small mountain range a distance away.
"Its roughly one mile away, but it may as well be ten with those troops on our back, my dragon's armor was designed to absorb most of the discharge from energy weapons, but the shells are a diferent matter".
He turned and shouted a few commands to the others and they quickly formed into fireteams of five and began falling back, wach squad covering the retreat of the other while keeping the enemy pined.
"We will cover your retreat as well as our own, dont stop for anything. I just hope my message got picked up in time or this is going to be one hell of a stand, come one, we better get out of here!"
With that, Silver fired a burst of shots at the advanceing troops and began to fall back to the north as three shels landed almost ontop of the vent access, useing what cover was availible, thankfully it was not an open field they were retreating across.
