Maybe a dumb interjection, but shouldn't anyone be able to change their IFF to Unknown? It is a means of not getting identified (evidently), but since only the Wild use it, this really becomes a moot point. There is a /pirate command for the Independent Pirate IFF. Can we please have a similar command for the Unknown IFF as well, since there is literally no reason why your average Freelancer who is a bit tech savvy wouldn't be able to spend the time of his day to change the IFF reading?
