ID have always been irp "ID papers".
Whether you ID a Wilde-ID via their ID, or via their "abnormal alien equipment" makes no difference in practise.
The Wilde ID does not need an exception because most of the interactions follow one of the models:
a) Wilde who want to pvp... then... you get pvp-ed.
b) Wilde who want to roleplay. Then they get either roleplay (normally it is easy to spot when they are out for rp), or... pvp, depending on the players on both sides.
I don't see any reason to make an exception for 1 ID.
