After a week of Captivity, and multiple interrogations, she had slowly familiarized herself with the Location. The Guards had gotten sloppy, complacent about her apparent submission to the routine, which is exactly what she had counted on. She let herself be brought in to the Interrogation cell, to once again be beaten viciously, to no avail. These were clearly amateurs, a smart torturer knows that beatings are essentially pointless, a victim will say anything to get pain to stop. Not that she spoke, of course, as she was dragged back to her cell.
