FYI, from Christmas to New Years eve 1914 (during the first World War), the opposing sides (German and British troops) decided to temporarily end the battle so that they could sing, talk, exchange gifts, bury the deceased and even have a few games of football together. They were "supposed" to fight, but they chose not to because they felt like the fighting could be done another time.
This is an extremely isolated example.
This happens on a regular basis on disco.People favour talking instead of shooting.
A BAF dunkirk captain chose to make some honorary arangements with a corsair cruiser in cambridge,so that we would fight. They spent like 20 minutes chatting in system chat like children, literally like children(i'll get you!!nah you wont,im hidden come get me!!if i catch you you're dead!!naa you wont catch me). After they found eachother they proceeded to talk.Corsairs want to anexate Cambridge to their empire, and a BAF captain makes negociations with them.Oh,wait,he was waiting for me to come in my crecy and pew that corsair.Still.....
Get over it people.Red factions are there for a reason:to exchange 3-4 lines and then shoot eachother. You dont like fighting?Go play a zoner.
