As I stated above, the most important thing is that whatever RP my character played there it would end with a demand from my side. That's the thing, and it would be really silly from my side to demand money/cargo(or anything) from a trader who is sitting right next to the station. The thing is, if we tried a different RP, you most probably would dock after 2 or 3 minutes. That's the difference.
I'm not a member of the faction so I'm just stating my personal view here. And I stated my opinion about the fact that first you paid all your attention to the fact that one of the member RPed a different character, be it a psycho crazy female or whatever, which happened to be a bit problematic for you, and I tried to show you a good side of it. What are we discussing here by the way? If the member's RP was intended to advance the rp of the faction? If you ask me, I would say it neither lowered the rp of the faction.
Imagine a different situation: We met somewhere else, and we just simply did a banal RP and after 2-3 lines made a demand, took some money from you and let you go. What would be your idea about the faction rp after such encounter?
The thing is, if you were interested about the faction RP, you might have RPed a bit different way and asked some questions there, which wouldn't be ignored really. What I'm saying is that I can hardly say that you "tried to rp with us for 7 minutes", you didn't show any intention which would make us put our efforts and RP different way. That's how I explain that encounter.
P.S I'm trying to say that in that encounter you weren't really the one who was talkative. If you showed us any interest then you would get an adequate respond from me. If I'm wrong, pardon me. I just failed to see much attempt from you to RP with us.
P.S.S Usually encounters between traders and criminals, as you stated above, ends up quite fast with a demand from criminals and respond from the trader. If the trader in question has any interest to further see the RP of a particular player or faction, my opinion is that the trader should initiate an interest in such case.
