Removal of the system off the player list?

Nothing is more fun than flying around on "patrol" for hour with no encounters, that´s what everybody wants to do on multiplayer server.

I understand your point, and this isn't intended to be a counterpoint (because your argument is valid), but perhaps those people could take this opportunity to actually fly around without a particular aim in mind with a faction member and have a few slice-of-life character interactions with each other. Not only would this provide good opportunity for character development, and yield a more believable encounter if and when a hostile contact shows up, it'll get that faction some tracker hours, too.
