Louis was plagued by asthma from childhood, yet this did not stop him from becoming a distinguished athlete. After Graduating collage Louis set out to travel the vast reaches of space with a friend Juan. They decided to be samura transporters, each of them captaining a decent freighter. their travels took them to New Tokyo system. the exotic food and beautiful ships were a sight to behold. Planet new Tokyo was a bustling metropolis. Louis manage to make a decent profit selling fine whine.
Their next destination was New Berlin. they had heard stories of Rhineland. the asteroid fields of Munich, the grand machines of Dresden and monsters of great destruction patrolling the space near Planet New Berlin. They traveled through the sigma gas clouds and arrived in New Berlin only to find the people and the atmosphere to be pleasant and welcoming. Although the war machines were not exaggerated.
Louis at this time had been travelling for years and wanted to return to Lyon but Juan had other ideas. One night at the bar he had heard that planet leeds payed handsomely for light arms for the rebels. The tricky part was that only small freighters could enter the secret entry point on the far side of the planet. it was risky but the tantalizing profit was too much to ignore. Juan persuaded Louis to join him.
Upon arriving to leeds they were soon met with a gallic royal police patrol who asked about the light arms they were hauling. Weaving a lie Juan managed to convince the officer the guns were for the gallic fighters. The officer let them go but he decided to follow just in case.
The duo landed through the secret entry way hoping to make a decent profit. what they found was destruction, famine, injured people and countless dead in the morgues. Louis and Juan were dumbfounded and speechless at what they had witnessed. They decided that the only rational option for them was to bring justice to the people of leeds. As they exited the secret entry way out of leeds, the officer who they met earlier was waiting. Juan moved by the horrific spectacle he had seen lashed out at the officer, insulting him and the gallic crown.
The officer angered by this said"To insult the royal crown and adding rebels in Leeds is a crime punishable by death". Before Louis could react Juan's ship had been destroyed along with his escape pod. Louis fired up his cruise engines and by sheer luck escaped to tau 31 system. On that day he vowed to avenge his friend and bring justice to all the people affected by the war started by gallia.
