Dear Lord, that was one of hell of a ride. Seriously. I wouldn’t have thought it would be so freaking deadly after all. Well, but let’s start from the beginning.
You know, when the Officials tell you there is going to be some Nomad activity in Colorado, you just can’t stay in the bar on Trenton and do nothing. After all, I’ve never seen these beasts before, so I decided to hitch up my sleeves and go in for the ride and have some fun.
There was already a huge gathering in Colorado – there were even some dudes from the Hellfire Legion present. I hadn’t thought we could cooperate that well to be honest, but at the end of the day, we did. Because we had to in order to survive that.
What started as a simple hunt (well, I was pretty overchallenged already at that point, but hey, I didn’t die) soon became a struggle for survival when we chased a retreating Nomad army through an unstable jump hole into a completely uncharted asteroid field. It soon became total horror when Nomads appeared en masse. Many of my fellow adventurers died, and I didn't think I would come out of this alive. When we finally made it out through another unstable jump hole to Inverness, our size had been drastically reduced.
Well, it was a pretty fun ride, and not bad for my first encounter with the Nomads I would say. But now, I’ve really got to go to Trenton, I'm in serious need for another cocktail.
