"Comrades, today the pilot of Eagle-1, one of our scout vessels encountered something in Omega-3. An unstable Jump-hole that led to a whole new system that seems mostly if not entirely comprised of a massive Asteroid Field. The Field itself however contains something that our scanners have never encountered before. A substance that we have heard is called 'Narcrahite' which even now puzzle our experts. It appears to be a form of crystal that has shown to be highly fragile when mined with conventional lasers. Thankfully we were still able to acquire several samples which have been stored onboard TOR-ONE for detailed analysis. While by itself it's apparently rapidly gaining monetary value we must also examine the possible for use in the field of focusing crystals for advanced weapon systems and perhaps even data storage if it can be refined.

For now all research into Narcrahite is considered Black Level Access due to it's seemingly artificial nature which may tie into the Machine Cultists we have encountered lately. For all we know this is the basis of their weapons technology. Something we must exploit in order to gain an edge over our adversaries."
