I do not understand why factions have not yet made "bonus boards" for the event. It's clearly said that it is low profit and that factions are meant to invest something.

Furthermore, I agree with the voices that there could be some incentive to GRN players to actually step up to the event. I mean, there are incentives that can motivate without halting/reversing the dev-made progression of the story line. Like... if GRN manages, one of their Valors gets a funky CAU9 for 3 weeks, or something along these lines. It would not break the event, nor the story line, and add some oorp incentive.

It would definitely make more sense than trying to weave an alternative storyline in which many of the the same players - after they cannot win on GRN ships due to event setup and story line - do not even play in the event, but try to "win" on an alternative ID. Because - sadly - that's for sure what it looks like at the moment.
