I started todays flight with relieving 'Starfire' who got himself in the grip of a Gunboat near West Point in New York. At the sight of a second Sabre Libertys finest decided to turn around and let us admire the fine shape of a Defiants backside.
This leads over to the next flight of the day, an interdiction mission in Kyushu. The miners we were intercepting sent a scout group wich prompty engaged us while the transporters hid somewhere else. The escorts were quickly destroyed but one hunter who ran to a defensive installation where he quickly got reinforcements of the naval forces. After they were not willing to fight without station weaponry at their side when the numbers were in their favor we called the main group in and left afterwards, not without loosing 'Flashback's ship to a malfunction.
After this we moved back to New York where we were met by notable resistance, not too surprisingly since we showed up near Manhatten. We were able to overcome their fighter wing and then fell back for repairs, calling it a day.
