He was smuggling (I think) and ran, they caught up by following in cruise, one of them lagging behind to "catch up" then disengage the engine to fire from ~420 cruise speed (in order to catch up)

I think its against the "spirit of the game" in the sense that everyone is capped at 350, the 420 is ONLY there to help keep groups together, not to catch up with someone fleeing.

My opinion though

I've tried to forget, I've tried SO HARD to forget...
