Hello everyone.

I am here with a survey report of a planet that interested me when I entered Sigma-21.

A few days ago, Ian and I went to Delta and took the Sigma-21 route as always. It was only then that I noticed a planet on the left side of our traveling route.
On the first look, the planet looked habitable, but it is a bit more complicated. The so called Planet Saigon is located in Foxtrot 4/5 sector and it has a moon orbiting it. Upon further analysis, we have noticed that the moon is actually protecting the planet from disasters and it's existence is crucial to the survival of the planetary ecosystem.

It's gravity well is a bit stronger, but nothing much to worry about. With that, the temperature varies from -24°C to 56°C. Making some parts of the planet unhabitable. After scanning a bit more, I have found areas of interest that support proper human life. These areas could be used by The Blackguard without being noticed. Along with that, there are 4 different wind belts scattered around the planet which show us how strong or weak is the wind. That will also determine if it is safe to stay in some areas after a while.



This is one side of the planet and you can see the Green, Red and Yellow points of temperature. Most areas that are surrounded by ice are too cold for humans and several island are way to hot for us to be there. The green areas show good spots where the winds give some cool air on the hot parts of the planet, making it optimal for any life there. Yellow areas are pretty much in the middle and that makes them great for small groups like ours.



Basically the same as I said before with a bit more green areas.



The wind belts are 70% accurate and can change with time and the planet position. This is what I managed to collect in one moment.

Here is the main problem in this situation. We have Rheinland, Kusari, GMG, Samura and possibly Zoners and Core that want to land on the planet, but are unable to do so at the moment. If we wish to use the planet we need to make the most of our research and carefully execute every action on the planet. With that, I have ordered the research groups to make planetary shields that will allow us to enter the atmosphere without taking any damage to our hull or worse, killing us upon entry.

This is all there is for now. I want everyone to get a Light fighter for this and be ready within the next thirty days.
