The endeavor you speak of is no easy task, and even at the pinnacle of our abilities, such collection is slow and dangerous. Being isolated in such a high-emission area is extremely high-risk. If it wasn't enough that the Core occupies the space heavily, the Nomads and Corsairs would likely want a piece of the action, leaving both of our departure routes highly restricted. Passing these areas without escort would be fatal, and doing so with escort is still highly dangerous. From my experience, transports are targeted first, and we lack transports with enough toughness to take such a risk of failure.

Perhaps if we procured the collection of the gas, your transports could make the trip. However, in either circumstance, we require a decent number of personnel to make this task a reality. So, in short, as interested as I am in taking on this endeavor, we will need to perfect our logistics before even attempting to do so.
