That makes it pretty clear this isn't about policing RP, so what other reason would you have to use oorp claiming of indies as traitors in order to pvp whore them?

EDIT: Good god, at first you steered clear of the "omg the factions hate the indies" crud but nooooo... listen, you think they restrict indie RP? No, they nudge it appropriately. The RP for the guys inside is tied up VERY closely and watched, not the other way around. They apply these restrictions to themselves, too. If they got a capship because they needed another one, they won't fly it now until it has an RP story, or at least definable RP. Which is all that ANYONE needs, indie or faction is IRRELEVANT. Why must you be so dense?

The motion's only two weeks old and we only finalized the organizational system about five days ago. Just today is it kicking in, so obviously the results aren't in, and I don't see how you have any more authority than I to dictate them. In fact, you have a considerable deal less. Now, why don't you go worry about the RM, who ban all sales of their capital ships, period? I have no idea why you're fixating around the 101st, we're at least allowing players an avenue to legally acquiring these ships. Go pick on somebody more extremist.

EDIT: I'm sorry, I can point to an incident where this has improved the general quality of RP. The Rheinland Military and the Kusari Naval Forces have both instigated bans on the purchase of the purchase of their capital ships (though KNF has a tougher time enforcing this with its popular Destroyer, due to their low activity). I have not seen a single Out of Roleplay Rheinland or Kusari Battleship in the last four months. How's that?

And here is the other thing... Since we have done this I have actualy watched three cruisers dock on malta and palermo and switch their cruiser for a sabre and falcatas. Now if that ain't progress I don't know what is...

they none of them had RP stories for their ships, and they all said... "You're right, these capships must take a massive amount of resources to run, they shouldn't just be flaoting around doing nothing..." "I don't want to write a story about my ship, lets get a fighter instead"

And will you please stop saying this is faction vs. indie? It is not, the factions hold themselves and each other to the same standards, if not higher ones.

This is not about faction vs indy, this is about faction vs crappy roleplay that treads on our own roleplay. The enjoyment of one individual cannot come at the cost of a whole groups enjoyment.

just today, i flew with 5 different indie's with detroyers, all went through the effort of RPing with the 101st, they spent at most 5 minutes doing so, and they were approved. so you can just throw your little indie bashing nonsense away.
