The problem is it's a little sluggish in the maneuvering department and lacks the armor to balance the turning rate, either give it the health to duke it out with the heaver VHF's or boost it's turning rate so it handles like the lighter VHF's.
I agree that it doesn't really fit the Renzu line, but I don't want to see those Macross looking things go.
