Seeing Anna sitting down was good for Lena, it would mean that the whole tension in the room would loosen up so their conversation wouldn't be held in an awkward way, her responses gave her a bit more confidence, they were also rather unexpected, maybe Anna indeed was not there to mock her. She put her hand which she formed to a fist in front of her mouth for a while and walked up and down in front of Anna, thinking about what to say. Would it be good for her to bring the topic about her leaving the Armee back up? Or should this just be forgotten as Anna didn't seem to be as angry right now. Even though she probably would have just let it slip she just felt like she had to justify herself in person another time. "Right... Frau Brigadegeneral, I know it might not be the best idea to talk about this issue again but it just won't let me sleep at night." She took a deep breath, as if what she was about to say was horrible. "Even though I don't like it, I need to bring my abandoning of the Armee back up, it just feels like you didn't yet seem to understand me which is perfectly fine, we are probably too different but..." She paused for a moment, knowing that she had to criticize her and the whole Armee now, which might not be such a good idea, but she used the calm moment to let it out instead of when she was potentially angry. "You know... in the last months while I was in the Armee, it felt like I wasn't fighting for what we stand, for what we all were supposed to fight. I know that you don't like hearing people criticizing the cause, especially when they abandoned it, but I just need to say this." She paused another moment, it was probably better to come to the point right away, instead of trying to talk around it forever. Anna was probably aware of what she wanted to say, she was smart enough to figure it out by Lena's gesturing and how nervously she walked around while she was talking. It would probably look like Lena was just scared of speaking out if she tried to misdirect Anna from the topic. "Anna, you have steered the Armee into a direction where it is not possible anymore to call it the Armee for the people, revolutionaries, the saviors, it doesn't work anymore. Isn't the goal of the Hessen to cut off the corporations from the corrupt government and bring the government down while doing so? All I saw was... our people threatening and killing civilians, how are you supposed to reign Rheinland if there are no people left? It has come to a state where the people fear you so much, you are being declared as terrorists, that is the opposite of what you want to be, you want to be admired and endorsed by the people, you need to open their eyes, not cut them out." All her words came out like a bullet, in the moment she started to talk she just thought it wouldn't matter. Now or never, in some way, Anna just had to know this. Lena wasn't done yet but decided to wait for her reaction to her words to judge if it was a good idea to even continue talking or not. In some way she felt like she failed her own plan a little, why would Anna now consider her as a friend if she is only criticizing her? She hoped that there was a way to make it good again, or maybe she wasn't that angry after all.
