Well, don't know what keyboard or interface do you use, I do have to press F6 first to bring my map, loot at the proper destination to head, click on it and select target so I can then press F2 to 'go to', of course this is delayed some with people talking and wanting responses to their messages.
Quote:my boy did not ooRP in the slightest infact RP'd perfectly sound for a outcast, the guy with the 4 completely different things strapped to his ship *cough you cough* was the one doing all the // and OORP OORP, my boy politely pmed you saying no oorp on system and yet you persisted on doing so.
True to that, I will not deny it, neither I'll deny that what I said as out of character was meant for every player to be heard, want another reason? very well, pressing Y to bring chat menu, look for person name, click on it, then press enter, and write down messages back in pm takes quite some time, and if we put the map and talking and looking for name again together, your 'boy' would have shot me down again, now they could just have ignored me since I stated as per rules I was leaving system, did they not shot? nope, opened fire on me after that.
Quote:just because it is stated in the rules DOES NOT mean to use it, using those little //'s does not make you immune to the rule of RP ONLY IN SYSTEM, the // is to be used ONLY when needed, and even at that... it shouldnt even be there you can just pm the person you have a quarrel with, now seriously how is your completely ooRP ship setup and char good RP when sitting in the middle of OUTCAST space with ENEMY technology strapped to every corner of your ship good RP?
now please answer that instead of dodging the question saying "Good you said em"
Ok, the first portion of what you wrote is redundant (sorry but it is, just repeating the same over and over) Now you want explanations? I shouldn't really giove them since this post was originally meant to put more background to the roleplay story but since you don't seem to drop the subject again I'll post some summary of what the character is doing: LT started on liberty a trader and transporter moving merchandise between planets and systems, slowly expanding his routes looking for better markets, at the same time he found out that several rogues and non-lawful parties seem to need some products for him to sell, but lawful places also share this, slowly exploring through the systems reaching Bretonia he found the perfect ship for his exploring and trading purposes, a large ship with good cargo capacity and a large sensor array to detect the best jump holes between systems, unfortunately (as part of the story) he fell afoul of the bounty hunters who got in his way several times marking him as mercenary, his trips through the systems took him to the omicron alpha and surrounding systems which were under constant threat by bounty hunters and making it a perfect place to hide, for the time being his presence provided a good income source taking jobs for the outcasts, as the relationships grew outcasts received in return data and information of its enemies where LT traveled yet not taking the outcast way completely. Several bounty hunters have fallen to his guns and their equipment put to better use... for now...
Quote:come back next time little one your completely in the wrong with this one.
as for politeness.... i will show no such courtesy for ones FALSELY putting our name on the chopping block, when it was quite literally you whom was in the wrong.
face it son, your ship your tag your weapons and id was ooRP you where told to leave got kicked the crap out of cause you refused, you sat outside malta crying ooRP after it happened and we left you with a repair bill for bugging our ears or should i say eyes. stop crying move on.
Just because you say something is the way it is does not make it right or proper, of course 'kicking the crap' out of someone is easy if rp factions gather people and before they actually roleplay a good scene or battle they have large ships with strong weapons, so they can say whatever they say as 'right' and force it.
Keep in mind that I started the thread as a way to get feedback and improve the play, I did mention what I saw and read and did not meant to start a bashing for factions vs players or a flame war.
Again without further bashing on what I feel the roleplay needs is a set of npc factions rules or guidelines, but no roleplay can be written in stone, otherwise the fun purpose of it starts to diminish very rapidly.
