Rang: Commander Missiya Priority: High Uroven' of danger: High Current Baza: Vogtland Mission Temy: An unexpected survival
Guten Tag, meine Kameraden,
honestly... I have never been so glad to be safe again, as you all know, I have departed back to my mission to Liberty to destroy military vessels. I was starting from Rochester and made my way to the system our troops lost me, Kansas. There I flew past a base and saw an LSF ship talking to a civilian, he didn't seem hostile at all so I was first just passing by until I entered a field of rocks, followed by the agent later on. We talked for a while, I must say that he was pretty friendly to me, so I kind of restrained from straight up opening fire. We talked a bit about what is right and wrong and then after nobody of us seemed to have something left to say, I turned away to the inside of the field where a little mining operation was going on. I snuck myself between the people and had a chat with them as well until the topic of Bretonia came up. There was a Gateway trader who received Ore from a miner and got really angry at me for bringing up how Gallia is crushing them, so he got angry and told me I should try to eliminate him, which I tried. I succeeded, which made the LSF officer really angry, so he followed me. I was not surprised that just a second later, there was a Liberty Navy ship coming up to me as well, in the end, he told me that I was attracting the attention of the lawfuls while standing there and talk to the others. At first, the LSF ship seemed to simply follow me, but then he shot a disruptor missile at my ship, which caused me to stop. The Navy ship took the challenge to attack me, although he damaged to a critical point, I managed to take him out in time and get a nice distance that enabled me to engage cruise speed and get some distance. It took a while until the LSF ship could catch up to me, in fact, I managed to get to New York through a special jump hole within the Badlands which made it possible to jump a few klicks away. Since I was not able to turn around to the lanes, I had to fly the same direction I came out of the anomaly, which made me come closer to a minefield that was protecting a jump gate.
Now to this point, this might all not sound that strange, the thing is, the LSF ship really did not want me to go in there, I ignored this warning, I had no other choice. When I reached the system it was leading to, I realized why I wasn't supposed to be there, although I was not able to gather any intel, it seemed like a secret testing facility or something like that. The system was covered in a weird dust and ice fragments so I didn't know where I was going when I simply flew into the next best direction. After a few seconds of fleeing, I came to the realization that I would be lost there if I would run further, so I surrendered myself. Not long and there were other Navy ships, one of them being a gunboat. One of them engaged me, and I know it seems like a miracle but despite me being damaged and almost falling apart, I managed to take out the Navy ship as well. The other ones around me didn't want to let me live and thus I continued to run, now even the LSF ship opened fire on me. I flew and flew, until I saw a minefield, like the one from before. I was deperately searching for an entrance path but couldn't find one, the gunboat fire was suppressing me. I managed to find a spot less crowded with mines and so I put everything on my lucky card and managed to break through with heavy damages. I don't know how I survived, considering the LSF ship exploded behind me, the Gunboat was not able to follow. I saw a jump hole that led me to the New-Hampshire system, where I was sure that the Navy ships were gone. I flew to Frankfurt and from there to Dresden where I am docked at Vogtland right now. I cannot believe I survived this hell of a ride.
