Motioning a hand out to the landing pad just beyond the hangar, James pressed a small button on his wristband, calling down a shuttle. As the shuttle touched down, the two boarded, grabbing hold of the ceiling mounted handholds. The Doctor clearly struggled a bit with his height, but got comfortable. "The place we are going is a bit out there. Probably an hour or so from here, so get comfortable." James took one of the seats at the sides of the shuttle, placing his cane a few feet away. "Hailport two. A bit of rough weather, but still close enough to many good schools. Warm summers, and plenty of room for activities. Creativity is the limit." Taking a short drink from a flask, James pondered a short while before continuing. "I hardly imagine one of your position would care about the work environment, but Hailport itself has plenty of opportunities for someone just starting to out." He stared off briefly toward the pilot and back again. "Regardless of money, I always thought a little hard work is good for character. Experience is a timeless teacher." Slightly worried that his hospitality would be dismissed through his disconnect of culture, he looked at Anna nervously for her reaction.
