If you intend directly copying the design from Starlancer, it will most likely not make any logical sense.
Use the style of the ship and the attitude of it and build a modern Freelancer cruiser around that general idea.
Much like how there are shiplines with a general idea. Use the general idea of the ship (Curvy, spikey etc etc) to influence a new ship design.

Simply name it the Reliant class in memory of the great vessel.

Facilitating the rise of robotics since 0 A.D.
