The link I gave was to the specific post I took issue with, for the record. I think there's been some kind of misunderstanding here.
My issue isn't why you're doing it, my issue is that you're literally just going "we flew to this factions base and bought their tech." By the same reasoning I can just fly up to an Outcast or Corsair shipyard and buy a Battleship.
