Over this past weekend, while I was on leave I responded to an emergency that other suitible craft we're not available for while grabbing some things. And Outcast destroyer was being pursued by Captain Armada and LSF Agent Gregory Schmidt. While their armaments proved semi-effective against the shield, not so much for the hull. Bringing in the firepower of the upholder bomber, we scrapped out the destroyer as it slowly attempted to flee.
After the weekend, I returned to standard duty, and it was mostly quiet. Though today had quite a few notable events. To kick off the patrol Juneau reported unidentified signatures in Zone 21, and swiftly responding, I found a freelancer present. After a brief exchange, the freelancer submitted himself to punishment, and the vessel was destroyed.
Following this, a Cryer transport was hauling five thousand units of artifacts, trying to haul them into Manhattan. The transport was stopped, contraband destroyed, and fine issued. However, this was not the first, nor the last time this vessel was caught. While off duty the day before, my habits took over, I scanned the vessel and was hauling the artifacts once more. Even just before writing this report, the vessel was caught by myself and Admiral Sader, to which it made a panicked dock to West Point. Pretty bad place to dock. Recommend anyone who crosses paths with this vessel scan it for illegal cargo. The vessel even attempted to bribe me by paying me double the fine to finish their run. Naturally, this was decline and all contraband annihilated.
Finally, an assault was mounted against Gallic forces in Magellan. While the operation resulted in a.. humiliating failure, our vessels not claiming any of their capital ships, I found some redemption in taking down one of their fighters before fleeing to Manchester. After this and another incident which was lost due to being shot down, I finished my duty.
