I am afraid I was not aware of this taking place. It is impossible for me to know what is happening at any instance within the Company.
I have spoken to our R&D Department, at Treyarch Research Facility in IDF, and they have informed they had indeed acquired a Kusarian Ship to obtain some of these items, so that they may be able to improve Jump Technology. I assure you this is way above my knowledge, but they assure me that they may be able to improve Gallic capabilities within this field.
You must know that these Scientists are difficult to control when they get some of their 'harebrained schemes'.
They have informed me that they were not aware, under the Gallic Law, that these items were deemed illegal. Even our Legal Department, who the R&D Department had consulted beforehand, had found no information on these items. With this being the case, the R&D Department thought that obtaining Sirian Technology would be useful, if it could be used to further Gallia's knowledge and capabilities.
Please accept my apologies for this misunderstanding of the Laws. I will have our Legal Department revise their understanding of it.
