[Sanguine Frozen Boy]

Samantha watched out from inside of her lifepod as thousands of stars glimmered in her eyes. She couldn't move, could speak, couldn't do anything but watch and think. She was passing through a blueish looking nebula that she recognized, it's beauty was unsurpassed to her, but it was not the reason she remembered it. The view suddenly became filled with an incredibly large ship, the name of the ship was faded in her memory. She watched as a tractor beam pulled her in and suddenly she was racing through the bowels of the ship alongside pieces of asteriods that were ripe with metals. She was sorted out away from them by a seperate claw which brought her up onto a deck full of men in grey coats with tags on their shoulders. Again, the tags were faded and she could not remember the letters or words, but she could hear them as her pod was set down on a table.

She stared out of the pod at the men, one of them had a goatee and was bald, the other two seemed insignificant as they left the room moments later. The man pressed a few buttons on the side of her pod and it opened with a loud hiss sound.

"Ripe for the picking, check her levels." She heard the voice off in the distance and watched as the man ran a scanner over her body.

"A large percentage of her blood has fused with the cryo gel. Weren't you waiting for a less percent like you did with the last one?" Samantha still could not move, the air was burning hot however on her skin. She wanted to scream out but could not.

"There was not enough in the last one and she was too old for her own good. We had to dispose of her." The bald man leaned forward and looked directly into her eyes. "Her daughter should do just fine."

"Do you hear that? You'll get to pilot your own ship. Your very own." The bald man pressed a few more buttons and the pod began to lean foward. Samantha gazed into a pit that was at her feet, full of a redish looking liquid. She couldn't move and could only feel the liquid seep into her skin.

Samantha woke up with sweat on her forehead and hands, gripping the sheets in her hands. She thought that her hallucinations would be over, or was this an actual memory?
