Murray reluctantly waved her hand towards the security detachment, ordering them away. "Fine.. Back off, guys.. He's being smart.."
She took a few steps towards him, stopping about three yards away, her hilt firmly gripped in the hand that wouldn't make sense to unsheathe it. She was still fuming, but had the thought in her mind that he might've been traumatized by his friend being injured. "Revenge..? For what, Taylor? I'm livid because you elected to not only ignore my order, but also straight up tell me to piss off."
She reached up to her lapel, tugging at the R&D insignia on the left side. "Do you see this, LC? This is the sign of me being of higher authority than you. You don't get to tell me 'to get another operative to do it'. When I say 'go', you bloody go. When I say 'jump', you're supposed to ask 'How high?'. That's how this all works. If you don't want to follow orders like the reserved little kid you are, then I'll be more than happy to sign your resignation papers."
