Worked on jump drive technology while in the employ of the esteemed Commonwealth, and contributed heavily to the 7th iteration of the SOSES, Sirius' most used open source encryption algorithm, which, may I mention, has yet to be cracked more than 4 years after its inception.
Short biography | Dr. De Calais came into this world in 793 A.S., on Planet New Paris. He grew up in a normal, caring family, and attended the Lycée Henri-VII during his early years. He graduated with honours one year early, and went on to attend the École Normale Supérieure of New Paris, the most prestigious Gallic institution in the fields of physics and mathematics. There, he found a passion for research, and dedicated himself to his work, obtaining a PhD in pure mathematics at the age of 23. At 26, he left Gallia,
traveling to attend the Technische Universität von Neues Berlin. He completed a year-long post-doctoral degree there, before seeking employ in the glorious Zoner Commonwealth, eventually rising to the position of head of R&D.
After the Commonwealth's disbandment, he sought rest and quiet, vacationing for a few months, before learning about the IRG's neat little toys.
