Name |Guillaume De Calais, Dr. Age |31 School |École Normale Supérieure (ENS), New Paris Area of subject matter expertise |Jump Space theory, quantum information, space-time mechanics. Notable projects | Significant confributions in the field of quantum information theory at the Gallic Royal Institute for Mathematics and Physical Sciences (quite the mouthful, I am aware.); worked with esteemed researcher Dr. L. Legendre on his famous Jump Space manifold theorem. Worked on jump drive technology while in the employ of the esteemed Commonwealth, and contributed heavily to the 7th iteration of the SOSES, Sirius' most used open source encryption algorithm, which, may I mention, has yet to be cracked more than 4 years after its inception. Short biography | Dr. De Calais came into this world in 793 A.S., on Planet New Paris. He grew up in a normal, caring family, and attended the Lycée Henri-VII during his early years. He graduated with honours one year early, and went on to attend the École Normale Supérieure of New Paris, the most prestigious Gallic institution in the fields of physics and mathematics. There, he found a passion for research, and dedicated himself to his work, obtaining a PhD in pure mathematics at the age of 23. At 26, he left Gallia,
traveling to attend the Technische Universität von Neues Berlin. He completed a year-long post-doctoral degree there, before seeking employ in the glorious Zoner Commonwealth, eventually rising to the position of head of R&D.
After the Commonwealth's disbandment, he sought rest and quiet, vacationing for a few months, before learning about the IRG's neat little toys.
Bonjour, chers amis of the IRG.
It's been a long time since I've had any fun. Too long, I think. Let's remedy that, oui? I believe we have the potential to do oh-so-many interesting things together.
Qu'en pensez-vous, eh?
Bonne journée.
Guillaume De Calais.
Links to relevant RP of your char or research done previously (Same or different char) |A lot of it has been lost to time, sadly. The most relevant thread I could find is this, on encryption methods. Not too relevant, unfortunately, but hopefully it's enough. Do you understand that this is a RP heavy group, that has little to no PVP? |That's one of the big sellers, yes. Timezone |EST (GMT-5 for most of the year). Skype (Can be sent via PM) |You already have it.
