A brief summary of our story and reasons:

The Honshū Unity Party first appeared in the year 821 A.S. on Planet Honshū as a regional party around the City of Awaji-shima. The Party was founded by a group of young men and women who saw their City suffering from all kinds of grievances; Criminality, Drug abuse, illegal Prostitution, mistreatment of women in general, racism and a lack of Police forces. In an attempt to remove any prior listed grievances the young politicans went for the regional elections and immediatly managed to get into the communal council. In a matter of three years they managed to make Awaji-shima and the surrounding communes to be a beautiful peaceful area on Honshū. Encouraged by their voters they decided to go for the inter-Kusari votes of the year 824 A.S. aiming to bring the same beautiful peace to the rest of Kusari. Being faithful that their modern political style which does not fully oppose old traditions will be exactly what Kusari needs in times of internal wars forcing our Military to fight against their own and be forced to watch Kusari's people split apart they expanded their operations to Planet New Tokyo late 823.
Nowadays the Party wishes to spread their words throughout Kusari, showing their fellow Kusarians that all Kusari needs is peace and unity to flourish like a Blossom in spring again and be prepared for a new bright future.

Long term goals for Kusari:

1. The Honshū Unity Party aims for perfect gender equality. This includes giving women in social, business and private life the same rights like men but also acknowledge sub-gender categorys as official genders and protect those by law. Sexual orientation and how a person sees themselves, as well as genders should no longer make a difference in a new modern Kusari of harmony and equality.

2. The Honshū Unity Party aims to find a solution for the ongoing internal fightings Kusari suffers from; Proposing a step-by-step approach to the Imperials to solve the current situation in a fair way for both major political views:

A Parliamentary Monarchy with limited power for the Emperor.

We will also question both Kereitsus about the ongoing indirect economical conflicts between each other and aim to lower those by granting both involved mega-companies equal rights and restrictions and as far as possible equal resources and assets to tie both together for a stronger Kusari. The "Akegata" class is the perfect example for what a joint cooperation of Samura and Kishiro is capable of and it isn't the only one. The "Komainu", our newest glorious warship is the best of its class, the "Drone" freighters produced the last years are superior to any freighter-class ever existing in Kusari, all just because Samura and Kishiro were able to work on them together. We need and will encourage more of this, not only in terms of spacecraft contrusctions; Kusari's economy would profitate in any possible way through closer relations between them and the smaller supplier companies tied to them!

3. Boosting Kusari's economy even further by starting a mass import of goods from Gallia, strengthen trade relations to Rheinland and approach the Gas Miner Guilds with special offers, hence winning a new major business partner and strenghting the peaceful relations between the House Kusari and the Gas Miner Guilds. The Party also aims to modernize infrastructure of our Planets and stations, this includes the educational system of our children.

4. Build up Kusari's military strenght to a new height after a peaceful period of time for the purpose of being able to defend our home from possible new threats of all kinds.

Goals for the first period after the elections:

1. Boosting the State Police's assets by highering their available money count. Forcing the Naval Forces to either engage more into Police work or transfer vessels to the State Police. Kusari needs internal peace to recover.
2. Establishing a more transparent goverment for Kusari's people, communal and planetary votes should be introduced on matters concerning the areas affected, such as but not solely:

Construction of new social housing, hospitals, schools and other regional infrastructure decisions for communal voting.

Environmental Protection for planet-wide voting.

3. Giving Deshima to a new administration while keeping a small Bounty Hunter presence there. Either towards Kishiro as a new large production facility - this would include supporting Kishiro to transfer Deshima into a production facility of their needs - or to the State Police as addition to the monetary boost they will receive.

4. Engaging into negoations with the former Kusari Emperor to create a cease fire until the situation is resolved and an united Kusari can be created again.

5. Increased investigations to prevent corruption within the current and future Kusari goverments, with removal of culprits.

We don't need grudges to result in wars, we don't need unequality to slow down our own progress, we don't need economical rivals weakening Kusari's stability. A united Kusari is strong, split apart we are weak, confused, vulnerable. We, the Honshū Unity Party, will unite Kusari with words, not unnecessary violence! 平和 ために 鎖共和国!"
