You seem to be missing the big picture. their allies are also weak, and fairly resource poor themselves, and are involved in their own conflicts. The idea that the Junkers are going to supply large quantities of raw materials to the outcasts just doesn't hold water.

You go to outcast space there are no NPC transports to speak of, therefore no supply chain, they just don't have any resources.

Secondly, the outcasts loose attrition wise. Even if the rumors are true that they live longer, they don't reproduce, they are a dying society with only a single planet, that's all your eggs in one basket.

Thirdly, cardi affects their brains, leading to eventual insanity.

Fourthly, they have no core proficiency in cap ship construction. Unlike the four big houses who have been making cap ships for years, outcasts simply lack the knowledge to produce such ships on their own.

Outcasts are largely isolated, that isolation keeps them alive when otherwise their enemies would overwhelm and destroy them, but coupled with their drug addiction and their complete lack of resources and knowledge means they would realistically have no in house cap ship production, just like in the original game.

Oh Peeeeh-leeeezeeee. The Red Hessians are quite able to provide the outcasts with what is needed to build ships, as are the mollys. They're both ex miners, after all. Sure, you could argue that the Hessians and Mollys only deal with the more "expensive" minerals out there, i can accept that, but you also need to keep in mind that they raid the mining companies that cost them their jobs, these minerals could then shipped up to the outcasts for ship building purposes.

This is what i imagine is happening "off stage"... The Hessians and Mollys gather the raw materials, some of it is shipped off to the Molly production station and is used to build Liberty Rogue style ships, a little bit is then shipped off to the lane hackers to cator their production lines and the rest goes up to the outcasts.

Possible future argument: "Sure, they get the raw materials, but where do they get the technological components!" - Is it really so far-fetched to asume that the outcasts can build their own components? Heck no, is my answer to that question.

*sigh* The gist of this post is that you shouldn't question everything you see *glares at Akuma* leave some things to your imagination, provided that you have any imagination. :P
