Not for cap ships, and in fact ot underlines the lack of resources the outcasts do have, that they fly border world ships rather than their own like most factions.

It's not about imagination, that's for the "I stole it" people and the "I'm a rich freelancer so I can buy a dreadnaught" people, if that argument doesn't work on a small scale how can people support it on a large scale?

In truth, the hessians have far more ship building capability than the outcasts, far more resources, far more proficiency. How does it make sense that the outcasts have dreadnaughts and the hessians don't?

And in truth, if you combine the resources of the outcasts and their allies, it still doesn't match the houses.

More to the point, with Kusari and Bretonia at war, this is where we should see the best equipment, the best turrets and cap ships being produced.

The whole dispersion of turrets and cap ships makes no sense, and it should make sense.

While I agree that Bretonia and Kusari should be using cutting edge technology on their ships (say, oh, codenames perhaps, that's what they are), where the hell are you getting this idea that the Hessians have better shipbuilding capability? Where do you hide a shipyard in Rheinland? You can't do it! The RM will rip it to pieces! Plus, the Hessians are situated atop the diamond reserves- by all means, try making a ship out of diamonds. Then hit it with a cannonball (not the missile, an actual cannonball) and watch it fly apart because diamonds are very brittle.
