maybe you guys like to type, but not me, i have a hard enough time trying to learn ROFL, LOL, and all the other word briefs on the internet, i dont neet to stress myself with typing OOC before every sentence i want to type. i think if you guys exsorcise a little common sense you guys can figure out RP from normal chatting.

Or maybe you can exercise a little common sense and figure out that you shouldn't be chatting out of character on a roleplaying server.

Considering that an important part of any online game is making sure everyone understands each other... I think the rule makes perfect sense.

You're free to socialize on the side - OUTSIDE OF PUBLIC CHAT. I do it all the time, two of my friends play here; I have a friendly chat with them in private messages and stay in character publicly.

Try your tab key. That's not cruising, and if you don't suck then it'll work to let you get your shields back in most fighters.

First, that much fighting doesn't happen here in my experience. Secondly, Freelancer Account Manager. Sticky thread in the Freelancer forum a little further down. Lets you have multiple accounts.

when i used to play here the badges you bought for your ships would fall off mounted or no. and then you had to spend another million or so just to re-aquire them, also some of them were so obscenely priced that sometimes you couldnt afford them if the server police told you to buy it.

They're mountable objects that don't fall off, no idea what the hell you're talking about here. I've never had to replace any of my IDs, and I assure you, I get shot down quite often.
