I usually avoid posting in such threads because it is easily understood as a personal insult rather than a genuine expression of perceived grievance. Please don't see it as an ad hominem, but as genuine criticism.
The new revisions for OFLs are much appreciated. While arguably not perfect, they are a step in the right direction to float a level of quality that should be expected from factions claiming to represent the mod, as the name "official" suggests. Sindroms and Skorak have been exceptionally engaged in this and I would like to thank them for their efforts. Even outside of this, Skorak has always been willing to help me and sacrifice a minute or two of his time even if it might have bugged him. Big kudos for that.
With that being said, though, I wonder why not everything else can be as structured. We're all aware that things like requests, SRPs and faction matters take quite a lot of time to complete. Yes, they need a lot of work, especially SRPs that need their RP read through, but there are also cases in which things simply fall under the table. Why? I don't want to downplay your work, but this shouldn't be happening. The current system you use to vote on matters is ineffecive, as it costs way too much time in which you can also forget other things that might need doing (I recommend spreadsheets).
How can it be done better, though? Since I don't want to just criticize your methods, I'd recommend you don't all vote on one thing but instead delegate certain tasks to certain single people, i.e. SRPs are done by admin A and player requests by admin B and C and so on and so forth. The upside of this is clarity. Tasks are completely clear for each person involved and admin A doing the SRPs can micromanage his own work since he doesn't need to wait for approval or for other admins to finish their work - less stuff falling under the table, faster progress, and people know who to talk to for checking on their stuff. The only downside I could think of would be bias, although I do not think this would rightly influence decisions, given that admins are selected for their qualities of being impartial judges over the community and therefore need to safeguard it.
Why am I even proposing this? Well, because I noticed an alarming trend when it came to dealing with the team after my own official faction got official. Not only did it take an additional two months after it got official for us to receive our official ID because no admin besides Sindroms knew how to operate the necessary console, but there are also two requests still pending pertaining to my faction, the first one here and a pending SRP that has been sitting there for almost four months now and the first request even longer than that. These are just symptoms of the underlying problem outlined above, however, and I would wish you take my advice regarding this either into consideration or come up with a way to improve your work order.
EDIT: Also, you have this thread. What is it good for if you don't use it?
