Maybe you play at some magical tell when there are tons of people on? But for me, if you don't interact with NPC, you're not really interacting hardly at all.
Let's have an example. I'm new, I play a new miner with the Miner ID. A guy in a Freelancer ID (neutral to me) blows me up since he says that his faction or club is at war with Miners. Do we still think that's ok?
At the end of the day what we are discussing is if RP that isn't in the game and isn't easily accessed by a new player should count towards them. Obviously if devoted factions want to have a war, those official factions should have that perogatove (within reason). But when we are issuing people a license to kill new players, who aren't involved with the supposed RP, stay neutral to them, and we say it's ok... that's what keeps new players from sticking around and kills the server.
