Reengaging in another system

fleeing is not the same as death.

scenario:

I'm hanging out at a friends down the street, neighborhood bully shows up with his friends and picks a fight.

I get beat up and go home.

Another kid beats up the bully so they decide to go home, but for them to get home they have to go past my house.

I'm still upset so i run out into the street and attack the bully with a baseball bat as he walks past my driveway.


Question:

Who is more in the wrong?

The bullies for showing up to start trouble in the first place?
or
Me for taking my revenge on them just because they walked past my driveway?


Everyone was in the wrong here in some way.

Fleeing is NOT the same as death, cruising away or not... But that doesnt necesarrily give you the right to re-engage either.
